Meet Shay Paulson, Owner of Merit Media
Hi there! So glad you're here. In 2021, our family moved from Dallas, Texas to Heber City, Utah with our son and our rescued Chocolate Labrador, Rye. (There’s nothing like a new baby and a pandemic to help you rearrange your priorities!)
I operate Merit Media from our home office, but my team and I serve clients across the country, including Jacksonville, Houston, San Diego, Dallas and Park City.
I’m a Baylor University grad with a background in journalism and public relations. I managed fundraising events for non-profits, weddings and large scale social events for corporations before launching my own business in 2014.
In the last eight years of business, I’ve coordinated events, managed social media, designed websites and provided direction for businesses just starting up and others that are well established.
I have a passion for helping others bring their visions to life. I take big ideas and walk alongside my clients to create a step-by-step process, whether it’s planning a wedding or launching a new website.
